MAGICYOYO designs and manufactures yo-yos in Shenzhen, China. Its range includes plastic and metal models, with different shapes and response systems for different kinds of play.
In this selection, K2 brings a transparent plastic body, V3 a simple metal starting point, V12 a fingerspin-focused cup, and Node a dedicated unresponsive setup.

The installed bearing matters as much as the model name.
Which MAGICYOYO is a starting point for beginners?
The selected K2 Crystal, V3 and V12 listings arrive responsive, so a gentle tug returns the yo-yo. K2 has a PC plastic body; V3 and V12 use aluminum. Node requires a bind and is aimed at intermediate and advanced players.
What does “unresponsive” mean?
The yo-yo keeps spinning instead of returning with a tug. A bind feeds string into the gap to bring it back. Learn that return before choosing Node or changing a dual-mode yo-yo to unresponsive play.
Does conversion need more than a bearing?
Follow the kit for the specific model. The selected V3 uses its supplied KK bearing together with the longer M4×12 mm axle for unresponsive play. The selected K2 includes a different M4×10 mm conversion axle; do not swap parts by appearance alone.
Is every model designed for fingerspins?
No. V12 has a central dimple and a shaped inner rim for fingerspin and hook fingerspin tricks. A metal body alone does not mean a yo-yo has that cup design.
Do all four come with the same accessories?
No. The selected K2, V3 and V12 kits list 12 strings and conversion parts. The selected Node lists five replacement strings, a glove and a bag. Check the exact variant and kit before ordering.
